On 19/01/2010, in Hà Nội, the RWSS NTP Standing Office organized the workshop on "Report on Strategic environment assessment of RWSS NTP". This is under the framework of RWSS NTP 2006 - 2010 and funfed by DANIDA.

The workshop participants were 30 people from ministries, international organizations and donors.

At the workshop, the consutlants presented and analized the implemented activities of RWSS NTP 2006 - 2010 and its impact on environment, society and also suggested some solutions to minimize the negative impacts and maximize positive impatcs before, during and after the NTP at policy, program and local levels. The workshop also received feedbak and comments for the Report on Strategic environment assessment of RWSS NTP.

Results of the Report on Strategic environment assessment of RWSS NTP will be the basis for the development of NTP III to archive the MDG on WSS and targets set by NRWSSS of Vietnam by 2020. By: Dương Tú Oanh
