In order to identify causes for breaking down or low effective operation of rural water supply and sanitation schemes  so as to recommend appropriate solutions to improve the situation, the Standing Office of RWSS NTP supported by AusAID and in collaboration with Institute of Water, Irrigation and Environment implemented the project on "Assessment of RWSS functionality ". The workshop was to collect comments on the draft report of the project.
