AusAID, Danida and DFID is sending a mission to Vietnam from 22 March to 1 April to appraise their joint support to the RWSS NTP 3. 

The overall objective of the appraisal is to provide quality assurance of the preparation process and the draft programme support document for the joint donor Support to the NTP-RWSS phase 3 in . Recommendations provided by the appraisal will influence the final preparation of the programme before it is submitted to donors’ competent agencies for approval.

 The specific objectives of the appraisal are to assess: 

 

1)      adequacy of the preparation process and the involvement of stakeholders

2)      the relevance of the proposed programme in a national sector context

3)      the specific content of the programme proposed

In connection to this, RWSSP Coordination Unit arranged a meeting between the RWSS Partnership, the Water and Sanitation NGOs and the appraisal mission on 25 March 2011 at MARD, 10 Nguyen Cong Hoan, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi.
